Fender and Sweetwater have joined forces for two great new guitars: the Fender Special Run American Standard Telecaster and the Fender Special Run American Standard Stratocaster. Only 20 of each guitar will be made, each in the Mercedes Blue exclusive Custom Shop color made popular by the Eric Clapton Custom Shop model. The Strat will feature Texas Special Custom Shop pickups (more midrange, higher output), locking tuning machines, and a Limited Edition neck plate. The Tele will have a Custom Shop Twisted Tele neck pickup (higher output, greater clarity with warm lows) and a Custom Shop Hot Nocaster bridge pickup (higher output, greater punch), locking tuning machines, and a Limited Edition neck plate.
