On an acoustic guitar, a peg or pin inserted into a hole in the end block. The end pin may be a solid piece of wood, ivory, or synthetic material, and general also serves as the button for attaching the guitar strap. If the acoustic guitar includes electronics, the output jack may be mounted “coaxially” in the center of the end pin, so that a hole doesn’t need to be drilled in the side of the guitar.
