This is a more pristine and uncolored, solid-state version of Manley’s Massive Passive. They borrowed the two favorite bands of the Massive Passive, the lowest and highest, took two of each to make stereo and squeezed them into a 1U box with their new Rapture amps. Both the regular tube Massive Passive and the new Mini Massive have applications where they are best suited. Given the size, weight and cost of the Mini, we can see it used for surround mastering, live sound, portable racks, and stem mixing.
