With ergonomically textured knobs, a slanted face, and rear-mounted I/O, the Mariner Tremolo features a sleek, accommodating housing, fitting snug on your pedalboard without compromising access. A multi-colored trio of LED indicator lights not only add a decorative flare, but they also ensure unambiguous confirmation of the Mariner’s activity in most lighting conditions. Toggling between vintage-inspired Classic tremolo and the contemporary cuts of the Harmonic mode, all-analog signal processing provides clear, distinctive voicing without intruding on your base sound.
Straightforward design, inspiring output
To call the Mariner Tremolo’s layout “simple” would miss the possibilities of rich aural exploration that it allows. An elegant, 3-knob array adds heaps of character to the two base tremolo modes. Depth manages the intensity of the tremolo by mixing in its presence with the incoming signal, from a light, undulating pulse to a total-mix dropout. With the Shape knob, you have control of the LFO waveform used to induce the effect, moving from a triangle to a square wave with plenty of room in between for unconventional plucks and profiles. Dial in the frequency of the LFO with the Speed control to vary your sonic slices from slow and impactful to chaotically quick. As an added bonus, the Mariner is capable of 9-volt battery operation, making this a truly portable powerhouse of tonal texturizing.
