Lush Tri-chorus Pedal with Fully Customizable Voicing and Effects

The TriceraChorus pedal from Eventide is a vintage-inspired tri-chorus stompbox that delivers all of the syrupy-smooth deep modulation you crave for your guitar, bass, synth, strings, vocals, and beyond. Engineered with rich bucket brigade-style chorusing and Eventide’s MicroPitch detuning, the TriceraChorus offers a watery, customizable chorus sound like no other. With a trifecta of unique chorus voices and effects each, this pedal is your ticket to an endless stereo spread of pulsing and modulating waves. Transform your sound into a kaleidoscope of psychedelic flanging with the “swirl” footswitch, and unlock a goldmine of Univibe-style tones. Connectivity is key for Sweetwater musicians: with the TriceraChorus’s MIDI compatibility, you can apply your otherworldly chorus effects to just about anything your heart desires — the Eventide Device Manager software for Mac/PC even lets you load dozens of additional presets to your pedal!

Epic vintage-inspired modulation

The TriceraChorus is designed for deep modulation and the dreamiest chorus textures imaginable, which is why Eventide made sure to outfit the pedal with all the proper components. Left, Center, and Right chorus voices power this pedal’s effects, all of which can be detuned for adding even more depth to your sound. The 3-phase LFO allows you to modulate delay times for each chorus voice, creating a movement across the stereo field that is entirely your own. When all three modulated delays are combined, the TriceraChorus achieves a dreamy chorus wash straight out of the glorious 1980s.

Choose your effect for total tone customization

To get started with exploring the three effects types that TriceraChorus offers, audition Chorus mode for a truly classic chorus sound. Switch into Chorale mode for an effect that emulates a vintage rackmount tri-chorus unit and gains more complexity that is sure to leave you in awe of its heavenly warble. Vibrato, the third and final effect, produces a more pulsated trill that beautifully pitch shifts when detuned. And don’t forget to give the “Swirl” function a try to send your finely crafted chorus effect into a whirlpool of psychedelic flanging.

Eventide TriceraChorus Tri-chorus Pedal Features:

  • 3 independent chorus voices (Left, Center, and Right) with three chorus types (Chorus, Vibrato, and Chorale) provide endless tonal possibilities
  • 3-phase LFO lets you modulate delay times for each chorus voice
  • Detune function adds even more depth to your chosen sound
  • Swirl footswitch generates psychedelic flanging, phasing, and Univibe-style tones
  • MIDI capability over TRS (with MIDI to TRS cable or converter box) or USB (with MIDI-host controllers)
  • Eventide Device Manager for PC/Mac allows for software updates, system settings and creating/saving presets
  • Catch-up mode helps dial in your sound when toggling between presets/parameters (map any combination of parameters to an expression pedal)
  • Rear panel Guitar/Line Level switch for matching levels with guitar, synths, FX loop, or DAW interface
  • Use a single aux switch to tap rate or a triple aux switch for easy preset changing (up/down/load)

Reviews

Great Chorus
I've had this pedal for a couple of years now. Great sounds, but the use of the pedal using just the knobs felt clumsy. Once I got it connected to my PC it was a whole different experience. Everything is at your fingertips. You can see what you are doing, and make adjustments to existing presets. Eventide said to use the H90 controller, which worked perfectly. I could not get the Eventide Device Manager to work. Once connected to a computer this is a fantastic chorus pedal. Truly amazing. Running it in stereo is really a must.
Music background: 61 years of playing.
Lush, lush, lush
I shopped for some time to find a chorus pedal that creates the sounds I was hearing in my head. I researched manuals and specs and sampled over a dozen. For what I was looking for, there are many good ones, a few very good ones, and a couple of great ones. The Eventide Tricerachorus was the end of my search. The access to parameters is unmatched. The stereo I/O, Left-Center-Right architecture, the ability to add delay and detune to the chorus effect, and the many presets available through the Eventide Device Manager app lets me create the feel I have been looking for. The great price makes it an even better value.
Amazing inspiration Box
I have many chorus pedals. I have some of the classics, and some new iterations. This one is far and away my favorite. It just gets you all the way there. Did you like 80's chorus rack style tones then this will serve you well. There's so many great presets available too. You shouldn't have a problem finding a few that you like. Inspiration box!
The Best
The best effects pedal you'll ever own!!! Endless possibilities!!
Eventide Chorus Pedal
I am extremely pleased with the versatility of this pedal and how simple it is to use. Many sounds come out of this little box and it is one of the best pedals I have ever owned.
Also, Adam Vaughn has been very helpful all the years that he's been helping me and I appreciate his personal touch by calling me from time to time to see how I am doing with each new piece of gear I purchase.

Thanks so much!

There are studio engineers at Sweetwater who personally remember when Eventide changed the game with their affordable digital processing. Many of us still own Eventide DSP boxes that go back decades, and we use them all the time, because they're still awesome. That's one of the reasons we're always happy to talk to customers who come to Sweetwater looking for killer hardware effects. And it's not just engineers - you'll find Eventide delays, harmonizers, and more on our pedalboards, adding shimmer and shine to our guitars. It's little wonder Sweetwater is one of the biggest Eventide dealers out there, and our relationship with Eventide continues to grow, especially as they expand into new fields like plug-ins, 500 Series gear, and Eurorack synth systems.
