Reclaim Space with Unified Staging for Mics and Pedals

For singing guitarists, it’s an open secret that the relationship between pedalboard and mic placement onstage has never been ideal for us. After all, mic stands were invented long before guitar pedals arrived on the scene. Playing, singing, and using pedals feels much more natural when you use an XPND Pedalboard Mic Stand by D’Addario to combine mic and pedalboard real estate. This innovative stand mounts directly to large XPND pedalboards. It also works with other rail-based boards, provided you have a board with at least two rails. Stand clamps attach directly to board rails so that the natural weight of hardware and pedals forms a sturdy mic stand base. Don’t risk it with venues’ house equipment. Reclaim onstage comfort while giving audiences the performance of a lifetime by adding the XPND Pedalboard Mic Stand to your Sweetwater cart!

D’Addario XPND Pedalboard Mic Stand Features:

  • Optimized for use with large XPND pedalboards
  • Compatible with most rail-style pedalboards with at least 2 rows, including small XPND boards
  • Easier to transport and carry than standalone mic stands
  • Quick-release height and length adjustments let any player find a perfect fit
  • Not recommended for use with single-row pedalboards; be sure to test stability before any gig when mounting the stand to non-XPND hardware

Reviews

Works for iPad mount also!
I'm writing a review because I couldn't find clear pictures of this online anywhere. You can remove the boom arm and connect any standard mic clip, tablet, etc to the top of the adjustable straight pole. Construction seems solid, no swaying at the top. I use this setup to adjust in-ear levels and run AbleSet on the iPad.

Just got it today-time will tell!
I was a little hesitant to order this because it's so new I couldn't find a single user review, so decided to gamble. So far, I like the stand a lot. It's sturdier than I was expecting from the pictures in the ads. Materials on the vertical part and the boom are heavy duty, good fittings. The clamp on the boom mount is for both the boom swing and extension and seems well made. It's plastic, but seems sturdy enough and the knob is easy to tighten. Holds my picks, SM58, beer holder, and black light bar (gotta fire up those Luminlays!) with no sagging. Had to move my power supply over a bit to make room for one of the bolts going through the bottom half of the board mount. The pedalboard mount is also plastic but also heavy duty with nice big hex bolts to clamp the two halves together onto the rails. The vertical stand goes through the top part of the board mount and into a socket on the bottom half under the rails, feels good and stable. Nice to get some floor space back and cut down on the clutter a bit. Will have to wait and see how it holds up to load in/load out and travel.

Genius.
A space saver, best thing is it's NOT brand exclusive, works just as well with pedaltrain or any similar board l
Nice.
For a solo set up this is very nice to help compact your gear. Easy to install and a great idea.
Works well....
This works quite well on my XPND pedal board. It takes up little space and as the base is always on the pedalboard,it's much faster when breaking down: Just release the clip and pull it out. No legs to handle, etc. Also, I like the multi function boom clutch, as you can tilt and shorten/lengthen the boom with the same clutch.
