Responsive and easy to play
The JTS710GNA’s bore taper and bell are precisely shaped to enhance projection, inspiring confidence from your student’s first notes. It is responsive and easy to blow while supporting the development of proper airflow control and embouchure. As saxophones can be unwieldy in the hands of younger beginners, Jupiter has paid particular attention to the keywork ergonomics to ensure fluid ease of movement across the instrument’s full range, which extends to high F. The contoured left-hand table keys include a tilting Bb rocker arm for comfortable fingering and added agility for more advanced players. Other features include an elegantly engraved Jupiter logo and a beautiful, durable lacquer finish that will look amazing on the recital stage.
Packed with performance-enhancing features
Featuring a host of performance-enhancing details more commonly found on intermediate saxes, the Jupiter JTS710GNA is designed to be accessible to beginning band students. Its ergonomic key layout and easy action, powered by blue steel springs (the professional standard for durable, perfectly tensioned keywork), are perfect for younger players, while giving them room to grow as they refine their fingering technique. Jupiter’s meticulous keywork guarantees consistent, stable seating of the pads to provide a leak-free, airtight fit. The pads are also fitted with metal tone boosters that enhance resonance to deliver a big, vibrant, and commanding tone that brings your notes to life.
Jupiter: guaranteed through graduation
A staple in classrooms everywhere, Jupiter band instruments are beloved by music teachers for good reason. Since 1980, the company has built high-quality band instruments for students of every development level. Innovations such as the Sona-Pure saxophone neck annealing process, Waveline flute headjoint, and patented Ergonomic trombone are but three examples of the company’s player-centered design philosophy. Leveraging time-honored handcrafted design methodologies alongside cutting-edge modern manufacturing processes, each Jupiter instrument is inspected for quality throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring that it can endure bumps and bruises as easily as it can navigate technical passages. Sweetwater believes that every student should have access to the rich musical culture that unites us all.
