Reviews

Excellent mixer!
I have a C.A.E. Dual Stereo Line Mixer. Totally about as transparent as it can possibly get. How I want to mix though is not possible feasibly or reasonably with the CAE so I tried this SM10. Perfect and knocks it out of the park! Quiet clean and the routing is just what I was after! I was worried the active gain stages might be added noise or maybe it would have a color to the sound. I am pretty impressed. And if you know how to I built a stereo Aux send splitter box that is true stereo send to two left and right TS pairs. The monitor send and FX send are both stereo which is rare! Each one takes a mix bus A pre or post fader depending which one you choose and applies to mix bus B. The splitter cost me just 5 neutrik jacks and an aluminum pedal enclosure BUD box. Works perfect! At unity gain on the trims it's absolutely pristine quiet! I highly recommend this mixer for guitar racks and if you are a bit eccentric like me, even works on pedal boards amazingly well! At a price you really cannot argue with.
Will it last? That remains to be seen as I have had it a month. But I would buy it again for sure if I had to.

Honestly the Best Line Mixer You Can Get
I bought this mixer for my keyboard rig. For my larger shows, I typically use two keyboards and one of them MIDIed up to a Roland XV-3080. Thats three stereo outputs. Needless to say, I run all my boards into this mixer and send it to the house via 2 XLRs. No DI needed. The additional features just make it that much more of a perfect buy such as the stereo, that's right, STEREO monitor send, FX send, balance controls, and XLR inputs on channels 1 & 2.

This also works perfectly as a main mixer for smaller shows. I just did a gig this passed weekend. Myself on keys, and a singer who plays guitar. I brought this mixer, two powered speakers for mains, and a monitor and that was it! It worked perfectly!

This little unit here is by far the best line mixer you can buy. Definitely exceeded my initial desires of this purchase.

Awesome!
I needed something that wouldn’t take up space and help me resolve hardware audio connections going back into my audio interface! This went above and beyond! I am able to connect my hardware and add effects, pan and control gain while using multiple pieces of hardware! I would highly recommend this piece of equipment. Samson is built sturdy and with no noise will buy another one if I have to add more hardware!
Thank you Sweetwater!

Stereo sends
I am using this mixer for some pretty strange routing and would like to say that both the monitor sends and effect sends are stereo (using TRS 1/4 inch jacks on the back) and an extra mono monitor send on the front. Try finding another mixer that does that. Plus - inputs 9 and 10 are not just left and right inputs of a single channel, but two stereo channels. These features are discoverable in the manual, but not as clear in the promo material, and make this mixer the only one that can do what I needed. Thanks Samson.
Great mixer!
Just what I was looking for to mix all my studio keyboards! Great product by Samson!
