My copy of FM7 came with a sound CD that doesn’t install with the serial number in the box. What should I do?

If I want to enter a name for example, the FM-7 plugin ignores my QWERTY keyboard, and Cubase responds instead. i.e. I want to name a preset “Syn Rise” and as soon as I type “S” rather than “S” appearing in the name field, Cubase solos the track (S is the command to solo track).

I’m having trouble getting the FM-7 Midi Set-up to recognize my synths. I also can’t get my MIDI keyboard to trigger FM-7 when running stand-alone either.

As a DX7 user, the first parameter looked for when trying to program some sounds as on the DX was the algorithm, i.e. how the operators interact with one another. Could you please let me know where it is and/or what it is called in FM7?
