Can I use Windows Vista on my Creation Station?

As of Vista’s release date in January 2007, all of the current Creation Station models are fully Vista capable. Older Creation Stations may require hardware upgrades of one kind or another. The Creation Station line is not pre-installed with Vista, however. This is mostly due to the limited support of Vista in the audio community. However, you can still install Vista, provided you are able to obtain all of the necessary drivers and software for it.

The best way to check if your software is compatible with Windows Vista is by checking the website of the software manufacture in which you are asking about. Usually this information can be found in the support section of the manufactures website. There also may be a search window where you can search for the keyword “vista.”

If you are unable to find an answer on the manufactures website you can always call Sweetwater for additional help in determining vista compatibility.

As of early february 2007, there is a Vista forum which contains a lot of current information about compatible interfaces and software. You can view this forum at the link below.
