When I try to open my East West instruments on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, I’m asked to choose a script. What should I do?

When running the latest version of the Play engine on Mavericks, you may experience an issue where you’re asked to choose a script when trying to open your East West instruments. To work around this, do the following:

  1. Go to Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > East West.
  2. Locate and launch Play.app.
  3. For easier access, you can create a shortcut to the Play.app by right-clicking on it and choosing Make Alias. Once you’ve done that, drag the alias to your desktop or wherever you would like to store it.
