What is the sustain resonance?
The sustain resonance models the added resonance of the piano soundboard, strings, and cavity when the dampers are lifted using the sustain pedal. It is accomplished using a DSP algorithm, as opposed to mixing in or switching samples. The sustain resonance adds a bit more CPU load, but does not use up extra voices.
