Is Ivory compatible with iLok authorization?
Beginning with Ivory version 1.7, all new Ivory products and updates will require an iLok key to run. Existing Ivory 1.5 owners also have the opportunity to convert your existing license based on challenge/response unlock codes to an iLok license. It is highly recommended to move your existing license to iLok.
To obtain an iLok license for your Synthogy software, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Ivory iLok licenses are supported on Tiger, but required on Leopard. Our existing challenge/response unlock-code protection is not supported on Leopard.
2. Once you are given an iLok license, you will no longer be able to obtain unlock codes using the old system.
3. If you don’t have an iLok key and a valid ilok.com account, please visit ilok.com to get started. PACE iLok keys are available directly from PACE or your local dealer.
4. Ivory 1.5 or newer is required. If you still own Ivory 1.0 and haven’t upgraded to 1.5 yet, you’ll be left behind! Ivory 1.5 upgrades can be ordered through ILIO or your local dealer.
5. Existing Ivory or Italian Grand owners running plug-in version 1.5x or 1.6x need to install the Ivory 1.7 update available for FREE on our Downloads page.
