Problems installing Ivory from the included DVD
In many cases, the DVD is not defective. Synthogy has offered a number of potential solutions:
1. A user can try manually dragging the necessary file(s) from the DVD into their Ivory Items folder. This may or may not succeed, so we don’t usually recommend this.
2. A user can try using another DVD drive, internal or external, to install from. This solution is often successful, since the problem usually has to do with the DVD drive, so using a different drive often works.
3. A user can download the necessary file(s), and drag them into their Ivory Items folder. This is the most reliable solution, and has helped many users complete their installation.
