What drives are supported by Waveburner Pro?
CD recorder support
WaveBurner Pro 2.2 supports all internal CD burner drives from Apple, and all SCSI or FireWire devices which support the Multi Media Command Standard (MMC or SCSI-3). This represents virtually all CD recorders currently shipping.
In addition, many older models from well-known companies such as LaCie, Matsushita, Panasonic, Plextor, QPS, Sony, Teac, Trax Data and Yamaha already use MMC.
WaveBurner Pro 2.2 will continue to support legacy SCSI CD recorders (independent of MMC) that were already supported by previous WaveBurner versions. See:
