My Waves plugins were working fine on Windows XP & Pro Tools 5.13 until I authorized them. Now they don’t show up in Pro Tools at all. How can I get them back?

You will need to open up two Windows:

1. My Computer > C Drive > Program Files > Waves Folder > Waves Plugins

2. Open up Start > Run

3. Drag the Unregister from the Waves Plugins Folder and drop it into the Run Prompt.

4. It should now say: “C:\Program Files\Waves\Plug-Ins\Unregister.exe”

5. After the last quotation mark, insert a space. Then type /unauth and another space. It should look like this:

“C:\Program Files\Waves\Plug-Ins\Unregister.exe” /unauth (There is a space before /unauth, and a space after it)

6. Click OK.

7. Next, repeat steps 2-4, using the command /process dsp It should look like this:

“C:\Program Files\Waves\Plug-Ins\Unregister.exe” /process dsp (There is a space before /process dsp, and a space after it)

8. Click OK.

The extra plugins are now removed, and the plugins should appear in ProTools normally.
