Should I update to Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3)?
As of June, 2008 Sweetwater Technical Support Staff does NOT recommend that audio users update and install Windows Service Pack 3. There have been numerous problems related to this new update that can cause the computer to not boot as well as fail to allow audio programs to work.
We advise to check the manufactures’ website of your computer software for compatibility information before downloading and updating to Service Pack 3.
