How do I update the OS on an MPC4000?
Download the MPC4000 OS and OS Loader program from www.akaipro.com/support.
The downloaded file is a .zip format. If your computer does not unzip this file use a program like Stuffit to uncompress it. You should have a .bin file when this is done.
With the MPC4000 plugged into a computer’s USB port drag the OS file into the Loader program.
note: The OS file is in .bin format. Do not “unstuff” or uncompress this file.
