How to update the firmware on the DM-3200.
Follow these simple steps:
1. Download the latest firmware update from Tascam’s website: http://www.tascam.com/Products/DM-3200_downloads.html Make sure that it keeps the “.tfi” extension. You can manually add this extension if it gets cut off during the download.
2. Install and run the Tascam mixer Companion (TMC), located on the DM-3200 CD, and at the DM-3200 download page listed above.
3. From the Windows menu in the TMC, select the Firmware Update window.
4. Press the “Open” button, and navigate to the downloaded firmware update file.
5. Press the “Update” button. Follow the on-screen directions. The update will take less than five minutes.
These directions are also located in the TMC manual on the DM-3200 CD. Refer to page 7.
