Under Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) Logic offers only 2 inputs and 2 outputs for the EMI. Under OS 9.x all inputs and outputs are available.

Explanation:
In Jaguar there is an Application called “Audio MIDI Setup” (/Applications/Utilities), that handles all audio devices. After rebooting the computer the EMI is set to 2 in / 2 out, regardless to what it was set to before.

Suggestion:
Please start the “Audio MIDI Setup” and set the EMI to the desired number of inputs and outputs before you start Logic.

  7. Hyperdraw latency : I’m using LAWP 4.1.1 and SBLive MME drivers which have a latency of 297 ms. Logic accommodates this latency when playing back audio so that it is in sync with the midi. The problem is that Hyperdraw messages don’t appear to get sent 297 ms early to compensate. They appear to get sent at the exact time as if there was no latency in the audio. I attempted to alter the delay to -297 to compensate but this brought the audio backward as well.
  8. Logic7 sometimes cannot save files in OS 10.3.7. Permissions error or File Already Exists error.
