u-he Software Activation Instructions

Getting Started

This guide will show you how to activate and access your u-he software. To continue, follow each of the sections below.  

1. u-he Account
2. Registration Code
   • Enter Registration Code
3. Download
   • Download and install u-he plug-ins
4. Serial Number
   • Enter Serial Number

1. u-he Account

Accounts are not required to activate u-he software. If you already registered with u-he before, use the My Licenses page to verify the email and send yourself the license information before proceeding.  

IMPORTANT! Do not register with multiple different email addresses if you only need one. Instead, try verifying the account by sending the license information to your current email address using the My Licenses page.

2. Registration Code

Sweetwater has emailed you the Registration Code to activate your software. Open the email, find the Registration Code, and follow the steps below to redeem it. 

Enter Registration Code

1. Go to the My Licenses page and click “Get your License.” 
2. Enter your Registration Code and complete the form.

3. Download

u-he software is downloaded from the email you received after entering the Registration Code. You can also use the My Licenses page to resend the download link(s) and Serial Number(s) to your registered email address.  

Download and install u-he plug-ins 

1. Open the email you received after entering the Registration Code.  
2. Click your product’s download button compatible with your computer.  
3. Open your Downloads folder and run the installer: 
   • PC: Right-click the .zip file, select “Extract all…,” then click “Extract.” In the new folder,double-click the .exe file and follow the on-screen instructions. 
   • Mac: Double-click the .zip file to unpack it. Double-click the .pkg file and follow the on-screen instructions.

4. Serial Number

u-he has also emailed you the Serial Number to activate your software along with the download link(s). Open the email, find the Serial Number, and follow the steps below to enter it. 

Enter Serial Number 

1. Open your software and apply the new plug-in to a track.   
2. Enter your Serial Number to activate your software.
