How do I use a sustain pedal to start and stop sequences?
Foot switches on the K2500 and K2600 can be set to use a number of functions. Here are steps to set a sustain pedal to start and stop a sequence.
1. Press SETUP
2. Choose #97 “Control Setup”
3. Press EDIT
4. Press MORE> to move to the next edit page
5. Press FootSW
The top left item on screen should say FtSw1:Moment:Sustain
6. Change “Sustain” to Play/Stp (hint, simply highlight “Sustain”, and press 102, ENTER)
7. Press EXIT
8. When asked to “SAVE?”, press YES.
9. Choose a location to save the setup (eg – #200).
10. Making sure that the new setup is currently selected, return to SONG mode. Using the Sustain pedal should now start and stop the sequence.
