Studio One Shows Wrong Version After Upgrading
In this guide, we will show you how to fix an issue if Studio One shows you’re running the Artist version after you’ve upgraded to the Professional version. Follow the instructions below to get started.
Overview
There may be a time when you upgrade your version from Studio One Artist to Studio One Professional, but it still shows that you’re running Studio One Artist. Follow these steps to fix the issue.
The following instructions can also be applied if this happens when you upgrade from Prime to Artist.
- Launch Studio One.
- While at the start page, in the upper left-hand corner of the screen in the menu, click on Studio One.
- Click Studio One Activation.
- Click on the drop-down for Product Key and choose to Show my existing Product Keys.
- Select your Product Key from the list and click the green Activate button.
- Do not select the box that says I have purchased an upgrade.
- Restart Studio One Once completed.
- Your upgraded version of Studio One should be unlocked and ready to install all relevant content or make music.
