How do I set up the Tascam FW1884 with Cubase?
Here’s how:
1. Be sure you have the latest drivers for the FW1884, available at: http://www.tascam.com/Products/FW1884_downloads.html
2. Go to the FW1884’s Control Panel. Choose “Mackie Emulation” as the control protocol.
3. Press the “Computer” button on the surface of the FW1884.
4. In Cubase, go to the Devices menu, then to Device Setup. Add a “Mackie Control” device.
5. In the Mackie Control window, configure the Input and Output ports for “FW1884 Control.”
