How do I set my Roland VS890 to external digital sample clock?
Press System button until it says PRM, press Yes, and change Master Clock from INT to DIG IN1 for Coax (RCA) input or DIG IN2 for Optical S/PDIF (Toslink).
If digital clock is lost at any time (either S/PDIF cable is unplugged or source is turned off), the VS890 will return to INTernal clock and will play normally.
