How to set polarity correctly on Kurzweil keyboards and Sustain pedals – Keyboard is sustaining notes all the time!
The K2000/K2500/K2600 line of keyboards has active sensing for sustain pedals. If the sustain pedal is “backwards” (sustains when released), try this:
1. Turn off the keyboard
2. Plug in the sustain pedal (DO NOT DEPRESS THE PEDAL)
3. Turn the keyboard on.
