Can I send MIDI into the XV5050 from a controller keyboard, and pass that MIDI along to my computer/sequencer through the USB connection?
To send MIDI from a keyboard to your sequencing software through the XV5050 (using USB) follow these steps.
1. Press EDIT and find “MIDI and USB”
2. Locate the “USB Through” setting and turn that ON.
3. Pretty Utility, and select “System Write”.
4. Power cycle the XV5050.
This will take MIDI IN from the keyboard and pass it directly to the computer.
