Why doesn’t my Roland XV-series make a sound in Performance mode but it does in Patch mode?
Most likely, you have US001 set, which is a user preset performance, which is blank. You should move the cursor here and use the select wheel to select PA001, which is the sequence template. This will respond to 16 channels of MIDI from your sequencer and is what you should have this set on whenever you’re using it with a sequencer. The instrument names will be the same as in patch mode.
