Can I use the Roland Studio Pack with a MAC…(ie. DP3, Cubase, and Logic)
Per Roland here is the full report –
Yes you can use the Roland Studio Pack with it’s RPC-1 audio interface and the VM mixer BUT you get the best functionality out of the software that accompanies the unit which is LOGIC rpc..
DP3 will allow to use the Audio drivers and connections of the RPC-1 and the MIXER, BUT the control surface side of things get a little buggy.
From what Roland explains, there tends to a clunky adaptation of midi controller messages and it is a time consuming process to assign each fader and knob – a controller message – but it can be done. Just not reccomended.
