My Roland RPC1 and VM3100 mixer (Studio Pack) are making clicking noises in all software regardless of what I do. What’s wrong? How can I fix it?
Most likely the clock for the internal RPC1 PCI card has been set to internal and the mixer’s clock is also internal, and they need to be sync’ed. The best way to do this is to go into the RPC1 control panel, Hardware Settings, and choose the Master Clock to be EXT Clock. This will slave the PCI card to the VM3100’s sample clock.
