Roland DR-770 Assingning Patterns for Direct Pattern Play (DPP)
Direct Pattern Play (DPP) is a feature in the DR-770 that allows you to play patterns by pressing the drum pads. Use the following steps to assign patterns to the drum pads for the DPP function:
1. Press the DPP button until “DPP” shows in the display.
2. Turn the VALUE dial to select a desired pattern.
3. Press and hold the DPP button and then press the desired drum pad.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 for any remaining pads if desired.
