How can I record a MIDI track while recording audio?
Logic Audio will allow you to record a MIDI track while you are recording audio. To do so, prepare for audio recording as you normally would, by arming the track(s) that you wish to record, and then selecting the appropriate audio track in the Arrange window. Next, simply hold down the Shift key, and select the desired MIDI track. Proceed with recording as usual.
