I record digitally with Audiowerk8. Sometimes the signal is distorted, although this is theoretically impossible. Apart from that, the phase left and right is not identical to the source signal.

Interference also can occur during digital transmission. Therefore, the connection between the digital source and AW8 has to be well shielded. Please be sure to use a quality digital cable from a specialist dealer. Furthermore, when booting Logic Audio or when switching from Analog In to Digital In, the digital source should be switched on first; otherwise Logic Audio will have no digital synchronization reference. Sometimes, if no digital sync signal is transmitted by the external device in stop or pause mode, it is necessary to have it in play mode; this, for example, is the case with some DAT recorders. Avoid digital loops, i.e. the connection of the AW8 to a digital device should only be one way.
