Pro Tools AAE Error -1177
“AAE 1177: Unable to find an Audio Interface attached to the first HDX card. Please check power and DigiLink cables.”
This error will appear at launch of Pro Tools if no valid audio interfaces can be found attached to an HDX card. Ensure that your interfaces are powered on and that all DigiLink cables are secured on both ends.
Further troubleshooting:
- Shut down the computer and all interfaces.
- Disconnect all DigiLink cables.
- Ensure HDX card is seated and secured properly inside the computer or chassis.
- Reconnect all DigiLink cables and power on the interfaces.
- Boot the computer and launch Pro Tools again.
