Getting Started
In this guide, we will show you how to register, download, and activate Oeksound software. The process is simple, so follow the sections below to get started.
Create an iLok account
okesound software uses the iLok licensing system for activation. You’ll need to create an iLok account and download and install the free iLok License Manager application. If you already have an iLok account, you can skip this section and continue to download and install the software.
- Go to the iLok registration page and complete the registration form. Take note of your User ID and password as both are case-sensitive.
- Open the iLok Account Activation email and click on the verification link.
- If you don’t see the email, be sure to check your spam folder.
- Download and install the iLok License Manager.
- Launch the iLok License Manager app and sign in to your iLok account.
- (optional) Connect an iLok and when prompted, click Yes to register it to your account.
Download and install
Once you’ve created an iLok account the next step is to download and install the software. The only thing you need to do is go to the oeksound download page, download the plug-in, then navigate to your Downloads folder and launch the installer.
- Go to the oeksound Downloads page and find your product.
- Select your computer’s operating system and click the download button.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer file.

Activate iLok license code
The last step in the registration process is to activate the iLok license code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer.
- Launch iLok License Manager, then sign in to the iLok License Manager.
- If you’re activating the plug-in using an iLok USB dongle, connect it to your computer at this time.
- Navigate to Licenses, then click Redeem Activation Code.
- Alternatively, click the ..i located to the right of the search bar.
- Copy and paste the activation code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, then click Next.
- Locate the oeksound plug-in and drag and drop the new license to the computer icon, iLok USB dongle icon, or the iLok Cloud icon.

The estimated required monthly payment shown which excludes taxes and delivery equals the amount financed divided by the number of months in the promo period, rounded up to the next cent. During the last month(s) of the promo period the required monthly payment may be reduced due to this rounding. These payments apply only with the financing offer shown. If you make these payments by the due date each month, you should pay off this amount financed within the promo period, if it is the only balance you are paying off. If you have other balances on your account, this payment will be added to any other minimum monthly payments.
