I need to reinstall Logic Audio Platinum or Gold on my system. Do I need to de-authorize it first?
No, Logic Audio Platinum and Gold are protected by a hardware copy protection key the “dongle” and do not use any form of hard drive authorization. The extra floppy simply contains files needed by the CD for installation, and can be used an unlimited number of times. Logic Audio Silver, ZAP and SoundDiver are protected by hard drive authorization, and should be de-authorized before reformatting a drive, or moving the software from one computer to another.
