Why do I need a BRC?
Production power, and SMPTE and MIDI time code synchronization. The full potential of an ADAT system is not realized until controlled by a BRC. The BRC allows you to perform Locates, Tape Offsets, Track Delays, Auto-Punches, Track Bouncing, Rehearse recording, and cut-and-paste style editing on an entire ADAT system from one control location. The BRC is so simple to use that once you become familiar with its operation, you will feel strange operating an ADAT without the BRC. With Locates, Punch-Ins, Track Delays, and Auto-Punch ins, it is obvious that the BRC was designed with music production in mind including and its interface was designed for musicians. All setup information in the BRC may be stored to the DATA portion of an ADAT tape to be recalled later, saving you time and trouble of tedious notes and cue sheets.
