how to I make the panners in my MIXER window to appear as Surround tracks
1) launch Logic
2) go to your MIXER page
3) go to the AUDIO directory at the top of the screen
4) choose the SURROUND option
5) there should be an check box that says “SHOW AS” and it will be defaulted to “OFF”
6) Click and hold and choose which style of SURROUND you are using –
(try 5.1 1st to make sure everything is working properly)
7) go to the I/O section of the track that you need to be surround – it will probably say
“OUTPUT 1-2″…click and hold until the drop box appears
One of your options will be SURROUND
Once you chose SURROUND – your panner will become a Surround TRACKBall
