Line 6 Software Activation Instructions
Getting Started
This guide will show you how to activate and access your Line 6 software. Follow each section below and skip any parts that are not applicable to you.
1. Line 6 Account
An account is required to activate Line 6 software. If you already have an account to register your new software with, please verify your login and sign in before proceeding. In some cases, users may wish to create another account to distinguish between multiple studios, computers, accounts, etc…
IMPORTANT! Do not create multiple accounts if you only need one. Instead, try accessing the account using your current login. If necessary, try resetting your password or recovering your account.
Sign in with an existing Line 6 account
- Go to the Line 6 website.
- Click the user icon, enter your current login, and click “Sign in”.
- Verify that your current products are registered to the current account.
Create a new Line 6 account
- Go to the Line 6 website.
- Click the user icon and then click “Create your Line 6 Account”.
- Complete the form and click “Create Account”.
- Open your email and complete the email verification prompt.
- Sign in using your new login to verify your account.
2. Activation Code
Sweetwater has emailed you the Activation Codes to activate your software. Open the email, find the Activation Code, and follow the steps below to redeem it.
Enter Activation Code
- Go to the Product Activations page.
- Enter your Activation Code and click “Submit”.
3. Download & Installation
Line 6 software is downloaded from the Downloads page.
Download and install Line 6 software
- Go to the Downloads page.
- Select your software product and OS compatible with your computer.
- Find the latest available and compatible version and click “Get Download”.
- Open your Downloads folder and run the installer.
Activate Line 6 Software
- Open your DAW of choice and insert the software plug-in to a track.
- Sign in with your Line 6 username and password.
- Continue to Authorize your computer and complete the activation process
