I get an error when I try to install my software on my Windows computer.
Many times when you download an installer for a piece of software, it comes in a compressed .zip folder. These types of folder require extraction in order to access all of the files inside. If you try to open a .zip folder like a regular folder, you may still see the installer inside, but when you try to run it, you will encounter an error due to the fact that the installer cannot access the compressed files.
To extract a .zip folder, right click on the folder and choose Extract all.
