I downloaded and installed the MOTU Universal Audio Installer but my AVB interface isn’t recognized by my computer.
If you’ve recently purchased one of the new AVB interfaces from MOTU (8M, 16A, 1248) and tried to install the Universal Audio Installer, you have probably discovered that your computer does not recognize the interface. Don’t worry – it’s not broken.
The new AVB interfaces from MOTU use their own software which runs in your web browser. You don’t need to be connected to the internet to use it, though, so if you run your system offline, you can still use your AVB interface.
