How do I switch the RAID array type on my Glyph StudioRAID Mini?
The StudioRAID Mini comes from the factory in RAID 0 mode. Follow these steps to switch your StudioRAID Mini’s RAID array mode:
Note: Before doing this, back up any data you may have saved on your drive as you will need to format the drive after changing the RAID mode.
- Safely eject your StudioRAID Mini from your computer.
- Power off the StudioRAID Mini and disconnect any cables.
- Locate the recessed RAID switch on the back of the StudioRAID Mini. Set it to the desired RAID mode. Note that you may need a paper clip or something similar due to the switch being recessed.
- Reconnect any cables to the StudioRAID Mini including the power adapter if you are using it, but DO NOT power on the drive yet.
- Hold down the SET button underneath the RAID mode switch while powering on the StudioRAID Mini and count slowly from 1 to 5.
- That’s it. Your StudioRAID Mini is now ready to be formatted.
