I’ve heard the new Kurzweil K2661 has a flashcard/Smartmedia reader. Is this true? How does it show up?
Yes! The K2661 does have a glowing-blue Smartmedia reader which accepts Smartmedia cards up to 128MB (currently the largest available). It will show up in disk mode much like the floppy and SCSI drives do as a separate option. You can load and save as normal files.
