How do I perform a simple hard reset (factory defaults) on a Kurzweil K2000, K2500, K2600, or K2661?
* THIS WILL ERASE ANY CUSTOM PROGRAMS, SETUPS, SETTINGS, OR SEQUENCES. It will NOT erase any ROM objects you have.
On the K2000 or K2500:
Press Master, choose Reset, answer Yes, Yes.
On the K2600 or K2661:
Press Master choose MAST2, choose Reset, answer Yes, Yes.
In both cases, the machine will reboot itself and does not require to be powered off and back on.
