My Emagic XSKey cannot be found now that I installed Panther (OS10.3).

Logic Gold Problem

I installed Panther this morning and now I can’t run Logic Gold (6.0.1): I get a message that says “Emagic XSKey not found.” I’ve posted to the Logic Users group and sent an e-mail to Emagic technical support. Logic users should be aware that the installation may make the XSKey (the hardware authorization unit) unrecognizable or broken.

  7. Hyperdraw latency : I’m using LAWP 4.1.1 and SBLive MME drivers which have a latency of 297 ms. Logic accommodates this latency when playing back audio so that it is in sync with the midi. The problem is that Hyperdraw messages don’t appear to get sent 297 ms early to compensate. They appear to get sent at the exact time as if there was no latency in the audio. I attempted to alter the delay to -297 to compensate but this brought the audio backward as well.
  8. Logic7 sometimes cannot save files in OS 10.3.7. Permissions error or File Already Exists error.
