When dragging a region out in Spot Mode the message “Timecode is not available” will appear, or when clicking on a region in a track while in Spot Mode the message “Timecode exceeds Session” will appear.
This will happen when Pro Tools is set to Auto Spot mode and there is no timecode being fed to Pro Tools.De-select Options>Auto-Spot Regions (cmd-P). After you drag a region into the edit window, the Spot-Window will appear.
