Is my DR8/DR16 data compatible with other Akai recorders?
A: Yes. DR8/DR16 recorders are fully compatible with one another, although the DR8 can only playback 8 tracks simultaneously. DR projects can also be played by a DD1500 and vice versa. It is, however, not compatible with the DR4.
