I’m getting clicks and pops in the audio with a ProFire LightBridge, even though all the clock settings appear to be correct.
Because of the high firewire bandwidth of the ProFire LightBridge, you may not be able to chain a Firewire hard drive on the same buss.
If that’s the case, try recording to an internal drive on the system.
If that works correctly, consider purchasing an PCI Firewire card or PCMCIA firewire adapter on laptops.
