I have a CD writer that does not appear on the WaveBurner compatibility list. Why doesn’t WaveBurner support all available CD recorders?
WaveBurner has to be configured individually for each recorder and complete documentation from the manufacturer of each device is required in order to do so. Apart from the actual time it takes to develop support for all the various devices, in some cases the necessary information is not available to us. In addition, there is no standardized protocol for supporting all the extra features offered by Waveburner, like CD~Text, PQs, Sub Index or ISRC etc.
