I can’t control the program in play mode or song mode of my Kurzweil K2000, K2500, or K2600 rack unit from my controller keyboard unless I’m on channel 1, which is the only channel my controller transmits on. What can I do?

Go to MIDI – RECV, and change LocalKbdCh to 1. This maps MIDI channel 1 coming into the unit to the current channel selected in Program, Setup, or Song mode, thus allowing you to use a simple controller keyboard with no channel settings to perform multichannel layered sounds, setups, and sequences without headaches. Please note the default setting is NONE, which will disable this feature.
